New for 2021 is an available diesel engine, a refined version of the popular GM 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel that delivers 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This engine has the advantage of offering the same level of performance as the V8 engine in most situations and the same capability, but with better efficiency.

Lower the two rows and you will have more than 3,000 litres which equate to a minivan. The previous Escalade was spacious, but the new one nearly doubles the available cargo space when the rear seats are all in place.
